Flower Lollipop Valentine

Last year, I had so much fun creating little Valentine goodies for our special day. I had three extra children in our home that day as I was helping out a friend by keeping them here. I never did share these ideas last year because we didn't do them until Valentine's Day - and since I won't be doing much this year, it seems like a good time to pass on the ideas!

To start, I covered our dining room table with brown kraft paper. This idea was an inspiration of Megan's.

Browsing through Martha's website, I found these darling lollipop flowers! They were so simple to make by cutting out little hearts and placing a lollipop through! I stood them up down the middle of the table (one for each child) in empty Chanel bottles filled part way with grains of rice.

I love this idea! I will be making them for my master club kids next week. Cheap, easy and oh so cute! Who wouldn't love that? Thanks Monica ;)

Yay--you solved my "what to make with the kids" dilemma for Valentine's day! Wer homeschool, so can do more than the usual "stack of drugstore pre-made valentines" this year, but I couldn't think of anything simple. These will be PERFECT--thanks!

These are so cute! And a lot less messy than chocolate for the kids! Lindsey will be giving these to her friends as Valentines. Thanks for the idea.

Hi Monica - I'm sure thrilled to have found your beautiful site. I've been enjoying your blog for a little while now...even added you to my list of favorites.

The Valentine lollipops finally did it...made me write a comment ;) So very cute and simple and frugal. I'll give it a try this year.

Hope all is well with your precious new babe. Ahh...aren't babies an amazing gift? If only they didn't come with all that darned sleep deprivation!

Thanks so much for the idea and the link. We started on a bunch of these last night using scrapbook paper. They will be perfect for my son to give out as Valentines for his class. We had just happened to find a great deal on a huge bag of lollipops, and I was wondering what to do with them!

Hi, Monica! Love your blog, you're so crafty! I was thinking of using this idea for the kids I work with in the school system. Not sure that the boys will like a flower, so didn't know if you had any creative ideas for gearing this towards the boys. Thanks for all the great creative ideas!
